Gionee is back in action in the smartphone maker, Gionee has officially launched its latest mid-range segment smartphone, called the Gionee M30, in the Chinese market. This comes almost a month after the phone got certified by TENAA. The Gionee M30 is notable for offering a ridiculously massive 10,000mAh battery, this phone comes with a fingerprint sensor on the back and an encryption chip for security. The launch comes after two new handsets from the Chinese company — one in India and the other in China.

Offered in a single 8GB + 128 GB storage variant, the phone comes in a sole black colour option with a leather finish on the back. Gionee hasn’t announced any details on the phone’s India release date.

The USP of Gionee M30 is its huge battery. The smartphone houses a 10000mAh battery with 25W fast charging support. The smartphone also offers support for reverse charging. Apart from a big battery the smartphone also comes with a dedicated encryption chip for upgraded security.

It has a physical rear-mounted fingerprint scanner embedded just below the rear camera placement. On the connectivity part, the Gionee M30 offers dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm audio jack.

Gionee M30 comes with a 6-inch HD+ display with a 720×1440 pixel resolution. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P60 processor paired with ARM Mali-G72 MP3 GPU. It packs 8GB of RAM and 128GB internal storage. Users can further expand the storage up to 256GB by adding a microSD card.

The smartphone sports a single-lens 16MP rear camera with an LED flash and an 8MP front shooter for selfies. Measuring 160.6×75.8×8.4mm, the device offers dual 4G, VoLTE, 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth, and GPS as connectivity options.

For photography, the Gionee M30 comes with a single 16-megapixel camera on the back and an 8-megapixel snapper on the front with a face unlock feature. The fingerprint sensor is placed below the rear camera module.
